Courses must state clear, measurable learning objectives that align with the needs of licensed professionals in the relevant field.
Course Description & Target Audience
Providers must clearly define who the course is designed for, what it covers, and how it meets the continuing education needs of the intended professional audience.
Qualified Instructors
Instructors and authors must hold relevant credentials, licensure, or demonstrated expertise in the subject matter being taught.
Instructional Design
Course structure, pacing, and delivery method must support effective adult learning and be appropriate for the stated contact hours.
Assessment & Verification
Courses must include a mechanism to verify participant engagement and comprehension, such as a post-test or attestation of completion.
Record Keeping
Providers must maintain accurate completion records and be able to verify participant hours to licensing boards upon request.
